Welcome to the registration process for

Exam Centre Manager Regional Training 2017

All exam centre managers, including those new to the role in 2017, are expected to attend one half-day regional training session prior to this year’s examinations. These sessions provide you with the opportunity to:

    • refresh your understanding of exam procedures
    • find out about changes to processes
    • share ideas and experiences, and
    • allow you to meet with other ECMs from your region who may be able to provide on-the-spot support and assistance if needed.

A fee of $130 is paid for attendance.

To view all training sessions and make your selection click on Upcoming under the heading Find a Workshop on the left hand side of the screen. Do not use the search facility as it will not work.

I cannot attend the session in my region. What can I do? Whilst it is expected you will attend the session in your region, you may register for another if you will be elsewhere in New Zealand at that time. If you choose to attend a session in another region, when you could attend your local session, NZQA is unable to pay for your travel.

I am unable to attend any session, can I send a replacement? Yes, if you are unable to attend any session you may send your assistant manager or another supervisor in your place. Send them a copy of the registration link and ask them to register using their details, or enter their details yourself.

My Principal’s Nominee (PN) would like to attend regional training with me. What do I do? Send them a copy of the registration link and ask them to register using their details, or enter their details yourself.

NZQA will be unable to refund travel for your PN to and from training but will provide morning or afternoon tea.

Registration deadline: Registrations must be made by Friday 18 August to assist with catering.
